MASTER DEGREE PROGRAMS

A Master Degree program from KIU is a graduate level degree, which typically follows study in a Bachelor Degree program and precedes Doctoral study. Students enrolling in the University usually obtain a Master Degree to further their studies and professional qualifications in a specific career path. Most Master programs require between one to two years of study, depending on the type of program.

From an academic point of view, the Master degree is considered the first level of graduate study, and results in the receipt of a second-series degree. Qualifying to take study in a Master level program requires the minimum of a Bachelor Degree, although in some situations students are allowed to combine a Bachelor and Master program. Those with an interest in this type of program should spend some time discussing their options with an Academic Counselor for information about these types of programs.
