BACHELOR DEGREE PROGRAMS

Background

A Bachelor Degree program from KIU is an undergraduate academic course or major that generally takes between two to four years to complete. (The actual program length is determined by the overall academic experience of the student, and the type of education that is being presented, i.e. onsite, distance, online, or blended instruction) In some cases, a Bachelor’s award can be given as a postgraduate degree such as a Bachelor of Civil Law, a Bachelor of Music, or a Bachelor of Philosophy.

Focus

Students completing their Bachelor’s Degree program from KIU are typically required to complete their study within four years. However, some programs may required up to five years to complete. Some students may be able to follow an “honors” program track if they are considered to be among the top percentile of students (based on GPA). Those with an interest in this type of program should spend some time discussing their options with an Academic Counselor for information about these types of programs.
